What I offer

My way of being in therapy pulls on attachment theory, existential theory, and the interconnectedness between our minds, bodies, and cultural surroundings. I am trained in emotionally-focused therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy.

This means I work with you as a whole person - considering your important relationships, humanness, physical health, and social context; tailoring my support to your preferences and needs, to help you do more of the things that you care about and make meaningful choices that are right for you - not only through talking but through different ways of experiencing.

Together we can gain more awareness of where you want to be and what might be holding you back. We will collaboratively set goals and create a game plan to move towards them - in a way that suits you.

I acknowledge that Zephyr Counselling operates on the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Indian Band. I further acknowledge the traditional territory of the Tsawwassen, Kwantlen, and Katzie First Nations, as well as the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish),  səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and Quw'utsun (Cowichan) Nations who share connections to this region. With respect and gratitude, I thank them all for their continued stewardship of this land and recognize their long-standing relationship with this territory since time immemorial.
