About me

I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years; supporting children, youth, caregivers, couples, families, and adults from many walks of life. I've had the opportunity to support folks who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and big life changes.

I believe relationships can play a big role in how we see ourselves and the world around us. And this can shape our thoughts, beliefs, and actions in profound ways. I am perpetually in awe by the strengths and courage we can possess even, or especially, while enduring incredible hardships.

I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Child & Youth Care. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC (British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors). Many extended health benefits plans cover services from RCCs. I acknowledge that Zephyr Counselling operates on the unceded traditional territory of the Coast Salish Peoples, specifically the xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Indian Band. I further acknowledge the traditional territory of the Tsawwassen, Kwantlen, and Katzie First Nations, as well as the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish),  səlilwətaɬ (Tsleil-Waututh) and Quw'utsun (Cowichan) Nations who share connections to this region. With respect and gratitude, I thank them all for their continued stewardship of this land and recognize their long-standing relationship with this territory since time immemorial.
