I'm glad you're here
Whatever you are going through and however you are feeling is completely natural. Being human can be tough. And being alive is an experience we all share. We all want to live a meaningful and purposeful life. What might that look like for you? My goal is to empower you to make that your reality.
Empathy and compassion are at the heart of my practice. This is an accepting, gender-affirming and neuro-affirming space where I invite you to be your complete and unedited self. I strive to deeply understand and honour your lived experiences and perspectives.
I believe relationships can play a big role in how we see ourselves and the world around us. And this can shape our thoughts and beliefs in profound ways. You know yourself best and have an innate ability to move towards where you want to go. I hope to walk alongside you, like a gentle breeze - a zephyr, wherever you are on your journey.

What I offer
Whether you want to tap into the present moment more fully, make sense of the past, or gain skills for the future, I am here for it.
My way of being in therapy pulls on attachment theory, existential theory, and the interconnectedness between our minds, bodies, and cultural surroundings. I am trained in emotionally-focused therapy and acceptance & commitment therapy. This means I work with you as a whole person - considering your important relationships, humanness, physical health, and social context; tailoring my support to your preferences and needs, to help you do more of the things that you care about and make meaningful choices that are right for you - not only through talking but through different ways of experiencing.
Together we can gain more awareness of where you want to be and what might be holding you back. We will collaboratively set goals and create a game plan to move towards them - in a way that suits you.
My background
I have worked in the mental health field for over 15 years; supporting children, youth, caregivers, couples, families, and adults from many walks of life. I've had the opportunity to support folks who have experienced anxiety, depression, trauma, grief, and big life changes. I am perpetually in awe by the strengths and courage we can possess even, or especially, while enduring incredible hardships.
I have a Masters degree in Counselling Psychology and a Bachelors degree in Child & Youth Care. I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with BCACC (British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors). Many extended health benefits plans cover services from RCCs.
